📜 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – BASTIDE CEDREA
Guesthouse and Table d'Hôtes – Peyrolles-en-Provence
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the remote booking of overnight stays and additional services offered by Bastide Cedrea , via the website www.bastidecedrea.com or its booking platform Elloha.
Any reservation implies full and complete acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions and the terms of sale of the reserved rate.
2. Reservation
The customer chooses the services presented on the booking platform and acknowledges having obtained all the necessary information before booking.
The reservation is considered accepted upon validation of the online reservation form.
The number of people indicated at the time of booking must be strictly adhered to.
Some services (dinner, brunch, jacuzzi, platters, romantic evening…) must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours before they take place .
3. Booking Process
The reservation is made via an electronic booking voucher. The customer agrees to provide accurate and truthful information.
The procedure includes:
- the selection of services,
- the entry of personal information,
- the entry of bank details in the event of a guarantee or prepayment,
- acceptance of the terms and conditions,
- final validation.
4. Acknowledgement of receipt
A confirmation email is sent automatically, summarizing:
- the reserved services,
- the costs,
- the tariff conditions,
- the reservation date,
- the establishment's contact details.
5. Prices
Prices are inclusive of all taxes and are valid only for the period shown. Tourist tax may be added according to current regulations.
Additional services are not included in the nightly rate unless otherwise stated.
Any change in VAT or legal tax will be automatically passed on.
6. Payment
- A deposit may be required to confirm the reservation.
- The balance of the stay is automatically debited 5 days before the arrival date.
- Any reservation made less than 5 days before arrival is due in full.
- Additional services must be paid for at the time of booking , at the latest 24 hours before the service .
Online payments are secured via Elloha / Stripe .
7. Cancellation or modification by the customer
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the customer does not have the right of withdrawal.
Stay
- No refunds are possible less than 5 days before arrival.
- In case of no-show, the full cost of the stay remains due.
- All cancellations must be made in writing.
Additional services
(Dinner, brunch, jacuzzi, platters, romantic evening, drinks…)
- Booking and payment at least 24 hours in advance .
- No refunds will be given less than 24 hours before the service.
- Any service booked less than 24 hours in advance is non-modifiable and non-refundable .
Deposits are never refunded when the cancellation is due to the client.
8. Arrival & Departure
- Arrival from 5pm onwards, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the owner.
- Departure no later than 11am , unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late departure possible until 12pm with the Brunch package.
- Any unauthorized late departure may be charged.
9. Use of premises
The client agrees to respect the premises, the peace and quiet of the property.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the accommodations.
- Organizing parties is strictly prohibited .
- Pets are accepted only on request , with an additional charge, limited to one pet per accommodation.
- Animals must be kept on a leash in common areas.
- The client is responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
👥 Presence of additional people
Accommodating additional guests not included in the booking is strictly prohibited, unless prior written consent is obtained from the owner. Any unauthorized presence may result in:
- immediate billing ,
- or the interruption of the stay without refund .
10. Jacuzzi
- Private access for 2 hours .
- Two bathrobes are provided.
- Any use beyond the intended time is prohibited.
- Access restricted to adults.
- Compliance with hygiene and safety rules is mandatory.
- Drinks are not included unless otherwise stated.
11. Culinary services
- Meals prepared by a qualified chef , using fresh, local, seasonal and locally sourced produce.
- Menus can be adapted to dietary requirements and allergies , if notified in advance .
🍷 Legal notice regarding alcohol
The sale of alcohol is restricted to adults. By placing an order that includes alcoholic beverages, the customer confirms that they are over 18 years of age. Excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous to your health; please drink responsibly.
12. Responsibility
La Bastide Cedrea declines all responsibility in case of loss, theft or accident occurring in outdoor areas.
The client is responsible for their personal belongings and any damage caused during their stay.
13. Respect for privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with legal obligations and the privacy policy of Elloha and Stripe.
14. Force majeure
In the event of an unforeseeable and insurmountable event preventing the execution of the contract, the obligations of the parties are suspended.
15. Complaints
Any complaint must be submitted in writing within 14 days of departure.
16. Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions
All reservations imply full and complete acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
